Counter doors, also known as counter shutters, offer the same security and durability as rolling steel doors but for smaller spaces thanks to their compact design. R&S Manufacturing offers a full line of counter doors made from steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
Depending on your application, you may benefit from a counter door made from either steel, aluminum or stainless steel. Cost and the environment are the biggest factors to consider. Steel will be more expensive than aluminum. When factoring in how often the door will be used and if corrosion is a factor, the increased price of a steel or stainless steel door may actually be the best option. R&S Counter Fire Doors integrate the automatic fire protection system of a rolling fire door with the compact design and neat appearance of a counter door. These rated counter shutters are available in primed steel or stainless steel with most of the same options as fire doors. Warnock Hersey 1 1/2-Hour Label or Oversize Certificate is furnished standard.
