CURTAIN DOORS
Economy rolling doors, also known as curtain or sheet doors, are rolling overhead doors made of one sheet or several large sheets of metal, usually steel, versus rolling steel doors that are made of individual slats of steel.
PROS OF CURTAIN DOORS
- Less expensive than rolling steel doors
- Less assembly and fabrication time
- Available in a variety of sizes and finishes similar to rolling steel doors
CONS OF CURTAIN DOORS
- One prefabricated sheet means if it is damaged the entire door may need to be replaced
- Gauge of steel is normally lower than a rolling steel door, meaning the door is not as strong
